Family Education

For persons with memory loss, their families and friends, there are courses to help you understand memory loss, develop a partnership with your doctor and learn skills to make legal and financial plans. Family care partners can participate in an intensive, supportive program to develop caregiving skills. Funding resources, which cover the entire fee of the course, are available for family care partners and those with memory loss. Please contact your local office to request more information.

Professional Education

Professional care partners will want to check out our new Foundations for Dementia Care training modules. This new comprehensive education program will help you care of people with dementia in assisted living residences and nursing homes.

Community Education

Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association are available to present about Alzheimer's disease to your community, school, civic, or faith community group. Our dedicated and trained volunteers are a diverse group of individuals who have been touched by the disease in their personal and/or professional lives. By policy, the Alzheimer's Association will not pay an entry fee to participate in any community program.
